Stupid little things that don't matter but I care about:

-Cubs need to go 3-0 this weekend to play .500 baseball over the final 75% of the season

-Cubs need to go 2-1 to finish with under 90 losses

-Rizzo is at .897 OPS, I want to see him finish over .900

-If Javier Baez and Junior Lake hit a HR this weekend, and Chris Coughlan hits 2, the Cubs will have 9 players hit double digit HRs this year (and only 1 with more than 16)

Anything else?

Cubs are the worst team in the majors at BB/K (0.3) and SB% (60% as a team!)

EDIT: They do, however, have a chance to lead the NL in ISO (non-Rockies division). They're at .146 and the Brewers are at .147.

Man, regardless of tiny sample size, Baez kicking ass these last three games would go a long way to making me feel all warm and fuzzy.

the timing would also be super annoying

Rizzo!

Mental error by Rizzo to not cover first after the balk. Credit to Len & JD - they covered it as they would have Castro. But we know that the post game coverage would have ripped Castro for that lapse and they'll barely mention it for Rizzo.

Cubs win!

Now tied with the White Sox, one game behind the Phillies, two ahead of Houston and Boston.

Draft order:

1. Arizona 63-96

2. Houston (because they failed at drafting in 2014)

3. Texas 66-94

4. Colorado 66-93

5. Minnesota 69-91

6. Houston 70-90

7. Boston 70-90

8. Chicago White Sox 72-88

9. Chicago Cubs 72-88

10. Philadelphia 73-87

11. Cincinnati 74-86

Cubs can get no higher than 7th and no lower than 10th.
