It's highly unlikely that the player the Cubs realistically target wherever they end up drafting will be picked by the one or two teams that finished a game or two worse than then.

True, but since the difference between 90 and 89 losses is completely meaningless to me, my preference is clear.

Mental error by Rizzo to not cover first after the balk. Credit to Len & JD - they covered it as they would have Castro. But we know that the post game coverage would have ripped Castro for that lapse and they'll barely mention it for Rizzo.

 

The Brewers announcers had no idea what was going on. During the two-minute highlight on Gameday, not once did they mention a balk. They mentioned that maybe Rizzo thought Valbuena was going to tag Segura (not that that would have mattered since they could have turned a DP) and then wondered if Rizzo collided with the umpire multiple times.
