I don't understand how Arkansas went 0 for 8 last year in the SEC.

Switching philosophies from finess to power football, mammoth lineman are now sophomores and the QB isn't playing with a taped together shoulder. Win or lose, at least we have clearly gotten the stink of the last 2 years off of us.

And I know there's not usually much argument for canning a coach mid-season, but these guys look to have quit on Hoke already.

Firing a coach mid-season is generally a bad idea, but I don't know what else UM can do with Hoke. They're getting bludgeoned by like the 7th best B1G team in their own place.

If Hoke was trying to get fired, he would be pitching a perfect game right now.

 

Starts Morris who looks terrible. Leave him in too long as Michigan gets crushed by a mediocre opponent at home. Leave him in even though he's clearly hurt and hobbling. Finally replaces him when he takes a terrible hit and looks concussed. Puts him BACK in despite looking woozy when Gardner has to sit out a play, then Gardner comes back in as Michigan drives quickly for a score when it's likely too little too late. Also the team looks like it's rallying around Gardner.

In that case at least you can point to Malzahn not being there. I'm not saying Arkansas should've won 10 games, but they went 0 fer against Rutgers, Florida, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss. That's crazy to me with how good they look this year with the same coaching staff and cast of characters.

Texas is terrible. If we had anything better than a mediocre HS QB, we'd actually have a shot at winning this game.

Texas is lucky we're the worst college football program in a generation. Their offense is putrid, and they could only score on us because our steaming pile of crap QB threw four interceptions and basically put them in the red zone three times. Otherwise, they couldn't move the ball at all. Good luck against any teams with a pulse.

Bielma blew this one. He sat on the ball and tried a 44 yarder. Coulda iced the game with more aggressive calls. Then when he should have been conservative after the quick equalizing td he almost blew the game by calling 2 passing plays and gave the Aggies the ball back with 90 seconds.

 

Arkansas was close to pulling off a huge road upset and the. Needed to ice the game and instead he settled for a relatively long fg.
