He wasn't charged? He was arrested and released on bail. Whats the difference between what the media is reporting as being charged with child abuse, and "formally" being charged?

He has been charged (that's what the indictment was), but he hasn't been convicted yet. That may be what they (and the 49ers as well) are waiting on.

Congrats to Adrian Peterson for battling back throug adversity and earning his way back. comeback player of the year posibility IMO

As much as I'm down on the Saints right now, their two losses were both on the last possession of away games. The season is still salvageable. They've lost 5 home games in the last 5 years under Payton and two of those were final games of the year when Brees didn't even play, so I don't think it's inconceivable that they go 8-0 at home this year. If they then go 2-4 on the road that'll end up being 10-6.

 

Can't figure out the defense though. They've added Jairus Byrd and have actually regressed somehow.

Feeling vindicated in that I've always despised the Vikings (and never really hated the Packers...outside of the fact that we couldn't beat them in the 90's)
