Honest question: When did they decide that after everyone on the line was in their stance and set, and then everyone steps back and looks to the sideline for a new play, it WASN'T a false start? Seems like the definition of a false start to me

Another great day for B1G. Looks like they are goin to go either 2-5 or 3-4 through the afternoon games depending on the Iowa-Iowa St result (right now Iowa State is up 3).

At night Purdue will lose to ND, Rutgers and PSU play so 1-1 there and Nebraska will win. So 4-7 or 5-6 for the day. And the team that beat OSU in the 'Shoe last week lost at home to ECU today.

And assuming Nebraska wins, they and the winner of PSU/Rutgers will be the only undefeated teams in the conference 3 weeks into the season.

I used to wonder something similar. I don't know the letter of the rule, but I think the difference is intent(e.g. turning to look at the sideline is not confused with starting the play), timing(turning to look at the sideline is done earlier in the play clock), or both. I've never seen a defensive lineman mistake that for the start of a play, fwiw.

Man, neither of these UGA/SC defenses look any good at all. The only time anybody gets stopped is because the offense screws up.

South Carolina has been playing like they don't have a secondary this season.

Sometimes the QB gives a really hard count before stepping back. I haven't seen a D-Lineman jump on that, but I wonder how it would be called if he did

Brutal unsportsmanlike flag in sc Georgia. I cannot believe they made that call.

Lol, Gurley headbutted a South Carolina player and the USC player got called for unsportsmanlike.

He also slapped another SC player. It was crazy he was clearly the aggressor I'm not sure no. 42 on SC (the guy who got called) even reacted to punched hit

AJ Cann is going to be the first guard drafted in 2015. He's easily South Carolina's best player.

Yeah, this game just reaffirms that their secondary (and defense as a whole) is pretty bad. That said, UGA looks like it clearly doesn't have much desire to win.

Georgia's been doing everything possible to lose this game and it appears it's probably going to happen.

Mid round guy before the season. But he's destroying people this year thru 3 games. I don't know that he goes before Tre Jackson, but he's definitely gone before the 2nd day is over, probably even 2nd round.

I like him more than Tre Jackson.
