10 team, PPR league. You could keep two keepers as long as they weren't drafted in the first 3 rounds the previous year. You lose a round above where said keeper was taken. I inherited a team and kept Ben Tate (6th rd forfeit) and Andre Ellington (last round forfeit (waiver pickup in 2013)).

QB: Aaron Rodgers

WR: Andre Johnson

WR: Golden Tate

RB: Marshawn Lynch

RB: Arian Foster

TE: Vernon Davis

W/R/T: Ben Tate

W/R/T: Maurice Jones-Drew

W/R/T: Andre Ellington

B: Lamar Miller

B: Anquan Boldin

B: Ladarius Green

B: Kenny Stills

B: Ahmad Bradshaw

B: Kenny Britt

B: Russell Wilson

B: Jonathan Dwyer

B: Stepfan Taylor

Will match-up defenses weekly (probably dropping one of Dwyer/Taylor - Ellington handcuff)

So yahoo! sends me an email grading my draft (well, their friends at "automated insights"). They said I did a pretty [expletive] job and gave me a C-. Then they urged me to click on the "full report card". That was a mistake. They continued to tell me how, if I won the league, I'd be "coach of the year", etc. etc. etc. Then proceeded to say they expected me to go 1-13 on the year. Ouch.

I have to wonder how much me not drafting a defense at all factored into this "report card". That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if this team was not anything special. But, I *think* there is enough talent there to surprise and contend if I catch a few breaks.

Weird that yahoo doesn't make you fill your roster. I tried not drafting a D in ESPN last year because one of my picks was Crabtree who was already injured, so I knew I'd get an IR spot. But they forced me to go D on my last pick.

Those yahoo report cards are a joke. They are reliant on yahoo's projections, which are terrible. They gave me a B- in one of my two leagues, pretty much because of the bottom of my draft depth, which I've already done some free agent moves to correct. Meh, whatever.

10 Team PPR Keeper League (1 Keeper, you lose the round he was drafted in - 1)

Keeped Alshon Jeffery, drafted in the 14th round last year. I always try to hit the lottery in the late rounds for next years keeper. Picked 5th so the top 4 RB's were all gone as none of them could be or were kept last year.

QB: T Romo

RB: Z Stacy

RB: G Bernard

WR: C Johnson

WR: A Jeffery

Flex: K Stills

TE: J Cameron

Def: Rams

K: J Tucker

Bench: J Cutler

Bench: T Gerhart

Bench: S Watkins

Bench: T Williams

Bench: K Robinson

Bench: L Miller

Get rid of Chicago D, otherwise I don't hate it.

Maybe it's just me, but that seems like a pretty bad team for a 10 team league. Great keepers, but very questionable draft.

12 team PPR (picked 5th)

QB Russell Wilson

QB Jay Cutler

RB Matt Forte

RB Ben Tate

RB Trent Richardson

RB Chris Ivory

RB Dexter McCluster

WR Roddy White

WR Mike Wallace

WR Reggie Wayne

WR Tavon Austin

WR Santonio Holmes

TE Jimmy Graham

K Adam Vinatieri

DE/ST Bengals

DE/ST Bucs

This team is a little older than I planned on drafting. Expecting Tate to be a monster with no passing game in Cleveland, and if that bombs, hoping Richardson figures things out in what should be a good offense in Indy. Ivory might be better than Johnson in New York. I like being able to mix and match at QB depending on the week. Probably not a championship team, however since I'm expecting too many guys to have bounce back years.

I like the starters on your roster, but the depth could have better complimented your team with younger players with late-season upside. Cutler and Wilson are both starting caliber QBs, but I don't think either is good enough to be able to use later in a trade. I probably would have just rolled with whoever I picked first and got a better WR and grabbed a late round backup (Locker, Eli, etc).

Graham, Forte, White and Wallace staying healthy probably stamps a ticket to the playoffs, though. Early season waivers will be important.

8 team league with extra starting spots to make up for the fewer teams. No PPR, standard scoring.

QB - Cutler, Eli (lol yikes)

WR - Dez, Jordy Nelson, Larry Fitzgerald, Crabtree

RB - Lacy, Foster, Bell

Te - Gronk

K - Gould, Parkey

Def - SF, Car

Bench: Manziel, Chris Johnson, Knowshon, Trent Richardson, Mike Evans, Terrance Williams

Happy with the team except for obviously the second QB spot. My hopes are Johnny Football goes nuts and claims the spot by Week 5 or to resolve it via trade.

so we drafted my league that i've been stressing about in the other thread last night. ended up keeping calvin and ball and wanted to get forte and demaryius back. forte ended up only being the top left and 6 of the top 9 ranked RBs were kept. i allocated $60 to bring forte back and $50 to bring demaryius back. ended up spending $70 on forte and $55 on demaryius to give me a solid core, but i completely over-estimated how much my league would spend on QBs (and backup QBs). my depth is probably weak but i think it's a team, barring no major injuries, that could compete. this league has big play bonuses (more points for 50+ yard plays and 50+ yard TDs) so calvin and demaryius should be huge there again

QB: Andy Dalton - $1

RB: Montee Ball - $6 (keeper)

RB: Matt Forte - $70

WR: Calvin Johnson - $43

WR: Demaryius Thomas - $55

TE: Kyle Rudolph - $2

Flex: Chris Ivory - $2

D/ST: Patriots - $1

K: Adam Vinatieri - $1

P: Bryan Anger - $1

B: Danny Amendola - $1

B: Dwayne Bowe - $4

B: Shonn Green - $1

B: Kenny Stills - $1

B: Josh McCown - $2

B: Teddy Bridgewater - $1

I'm pissed because I left a few bucks out there and could've grabbed a better flex/bench player while waiting for a QB that never came. if Dalton comes remotely close to last year that'll be great (he had 4th most QB pts in my league last year). either way i'm going to have to be active on the waiver wire and hope to get lucky with a FA or two early on

10 team PPR one flex - no keeper. Picked 7th.

QB: Peyton Manning

QB: RG3

RB: Toby Gerhart

RB: Chris Johnson

RB: Frank Gore

WR: Demaryius Thomas

WR: Michael Floyd

WR: TY Hilton

WR: Terrance Williams

WR: Justin Hunter

TE: Julius Thomas

TE: Heath Miller

D: Indy

K: Gostkowki

Normally not a fan of putting all my eggs in one basket, but I figure it'd be interesting to do so with hopefully a repeat of the most prolific passing offense in the history of mankind. RB is obviously weak, and I had to leave the draft 2 rounds early so it aurodrafted a second K and D that I didn't list above. Will be looking for early season waiver RB adds to clear those duplicates. Should be fun.

That's a really bad 10-team league. Looks like your 1st 3 picks were the Broncos players, but I think Julius Thomas may have been a slight reach and I don't see a guy that I deem worthy of a 4th round pick. If by some odd chance the Broncos get shutdown and held to under 20 points, you'll get destroyed.

yeah, saw that. also traded lacy for jordy and torrey smith. i hated doing it but i had to get some of the garbage out of my starting lineup.

In my PPR league last year, Forte was the 2nd highest scoring RB. Dalton was a top 5 scoring QB. Thomas and Johnson are the top 2 WRs according to many rankings. Ball has top 5-10 RB potential in that offense. Your depth sucks, but who cares? NE D and Vinateri are solid for $1 too.

14 team PPR (ESPN) and sure enough, I pick #14

QB- Tom Brady

RB- Andre Ellington

RB- Ben Tate

WR- Demaryius Thomas

WR- Brandon Marshall

TE- Ladarius Green

Flex- Steven Jackson

D- Bengals

K- Robbie Gould

B- Mike Wallace

B- Lamar Miller

B- Darren McFadden

B- Ryan Tannehill

B- Marqise Lee

B- Dwayne Allen

Since all of the decent RB's were gone by my pick, I took 2 of the best WR's with my back to back picks, then stocked up on as many RB's as I could while still getting a decent QB. There are teams starting back up RB's because there just aren't enough to go around in a 14 team league. So, I can definitely upgrade somewhere else if necessary provided Jackson and McFadden stay healthy. I think this team makes the playoffs.

ETA: I feel like a closet Dolphins fan with Wallace, Tannehill and Miller all on my bench.

I like it. Getting Murray and Stacy after Graham is huge and Fitzgerald is a fringey WR1 that you still managed to land. If you got Kaepernick in the 5th, I might have waited and gotten a little bit better at WR and taken your chances at QB, but I could see this working out.

Thanks. I actually took Sanders in the 5th (bit of a reach maybe) and Kap in the 6th, then Colston in the 7th. My initial plan was to wait on QB but I did that last year and got stuck with Eli after a QB run. That killed me.
