thank God kyle stopped by to share some more of his baseball thoughts with us.

i mean, he's right, so...

i mean, one could easily turn that around and say that a 40% k-rate is pretty meaningless when you're hitting an extra base hit every game and walking 10% of the time.

one can't really say that, no...not if it's a meaningful sample size. i don't care what a player is OPSing or what rate they're walking at if they're striking out 40% of the time in the PR winter league.

The only thing less important than Puerto Rico winter league OPS is Puerto Rico winter league K rate.

sure, if it were low.

No, I mean Baez could strike out in 75% of his PAs and it would still matter 0%. Just like his current Bondsian OPS.

I mean, we're talking about 5 games in winter league, this shouldn't require explaining.

Feel free to explain with a reason that isn't "sample size because I say so."

You didn't say anything about sample size.

in 5 games, when half of them came in his first competitive baseball game in like 4 months.

and in the absence of a meaningful sample size, all stats are meaningless pretty much by definition

i mean, he's right, so...

even if kyle were right about everything, which he's not, his volume of posts is tiresome. he's basically a less dumb but more arrogant version of slide castro slide.

On mobile so apologies for being cryptic, but that's not how stabilization works on a couple levels

I care as much about what you find tiresome as you do about what I find tiresome.

General hygiene, etc

Women's preference for men who are successful and over 5-6. The slow delivery times on my comic book subscriptions. The way people look at you weird if you wear flip-flops in winter.

And oil is tanking so hopefully this keeps up and he has to sell his farts for a nickel on a street corner soon enough

Hope for Javy

So we all know the bad line from his first season

36/213, 9 HR, 20 RBI, .169 AVG.

If some how he could hit just .240! .240 i could live with all the K's

His line over 500 AB would look something like

122/500, 30 HR, 70 RBI .240 AVG

I could live with that out of 2B
