Mat Latos plunked Kris Bryant because he hit a home run off of him in his first AB this season while Latos was rehabbing.

Just throwing that out there so we hate him with an extra amount of fury

It feels like Edwin starts every third game, not every fifth.

it really does. Maybe it's because the guys in front of him are the ones pitching great and the team is winning which draws my attention back to them just in time to see another Jackson start.

Latos looks like a young Don Zimmer

Looks more like Badger to me.

He looks like a circumsized penis. Acts like one too.

Jackson looks like Lando Billy Dee Williams in episode 5 coolest dude in the room when compared to Mat Latos - who looks like someone who has doubtless experienced an unfortunate lifetime and about the very last person you would ever invite

Clearly our strategy is to sneak up on the Reds by putting awful OBP guys at the top of the lineup. The old Soriano leadoff strategy...they'll never suspect that one.

With the lack of choices on this current roster, Valbuena should be batting 1 or 2 every night, cold streak be damned.

There is literally no reason for Lake to be batting leadoff. I hope Theo told him to do that as a sneaky tanking move because otherwise Renteria looks stupid for doing it.

Here's a fun fact:

For the Cubs, 4 of the 9 guys in the starting lineup tonight will be hitting under the Mendoza line, and a 5th is hitting .204.

Lake career .985 OPS at leadoff

I sincerely hope this is a joke, because you can't possibly believe there's a legitimate correlation
