It's cool as hell to have Marble on the Magic. First time I've ever had a player from my favorite college team make it to my favorite NBA team, other than B.J. Armstrong for like 20 games in 98-99.

Milwaukee is such a better city than houston. Joel Osteen sells out the Compaq center in a way Clyde and Hakeem never could. The people go underground like rats because walking around th city is like being in an oven. It doesn't even pretend to be anything other than a sprawling asphalt jungle.

With Lowery and Gortat choosing against Miami and Lebron certainly not committing yet, I'm really starting to think Lebron and Melo wind up with Kobe.

How would that lineup work? LeBron as a point forward, Kobe at SG, Melo playing the traditional SF?

lebron in play?

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA 7m

Says official who was part of meetings ESPN reported on: "There's clearly a breakdown in communication between LeBron and (Wade and Bosh)."

Unless Pat Riley lines up talent appealing to James within cap structure soon, one LBJ suitor says: "LeBron seems ready to explore market."

stolen from like a million people on twitter, but how incredible would it be if it turned out lebron tricked wade into opting out for no reason and the heat didn't even make him a realistic offer?

I'd rather that be true than have Melo sign with the Bulls

Back in 11' when Miami lost to the Mavs in the Finals, you may recall that Wade and Lebron were on camera mocking Dirk:

I felt then as I do now that Wade was sort of the cool kid and James - fresh out of Cleveland - was trying to be like him. But I think James has grown up a lot over the years. He has taken a ton of [expletive] while Wade has somehow avoided mass criticism. James is, was, and will always be the better player, and he has really impressed me with his ability to stay calm and largely humble in public in spite of being the most targeted player in professional sports.

My guess is that Lebron is tired of Wade's crap and b.s. image ("family man" who humiliated his wife during their divorce for all the world and their kids to see) now that Wade's skills are clearly on the decline. He probably feels the same about Bosh, who also seems almost immune to the sort of criticism that Lebron receives.

I hope Lebron leaves them both (particularly Wade) high and dry and wins a title somewhere else.

If true, Warriors are [expletive] stupid. Barnes/Thompson could have netted them Afflalo, Love and a first round pick.

@RicBucher

Ws could've dealt HBarnes to Orl for Arron Afflalo + future 1st, source says. Passed. AA would've eased losing Klay in KLove deal.

@Chris_Broussard

Cleveland has replaced Miami as my frontrunner to land LeBron James...

@ESPNSteinLine

ESPN sources say Rockets are "heavily engaged" with Chris Bosh in attempt to get Bosh to leave Heat in free agency. Story hits online soon

Something may be going on...

My plan was to wait for @ESPN_FirstTake in the AM. But @SportsCenter has called me for duty. Here I come. Approx 11:30pm. Buckle Up!

This basically sums up Wade for me. He's gotten a pass because he has a big smile all the time but he's done some shaddy crap that any other star of his stature would have been loudly criticised for.

Houston offered Bosh the 4/96 max deal, less (at least on AAV) than the Heat will reportedly offer him as they want to give him less than max money.
