This is just silly. is there any minor league cub in recent memory that's destroyed a league to this extent? Why is KB not on a plane or a train to Des Moines?

Plus Rizzo. And as you mentioned, Baez almost OPS'd 1.000 as a 20 year old SS, as did Starlin (in half the games and probably in a less sustainable way).

 

Looking at just their numbers offensively though, Bryant has been better than them by a wide margin.

Rizzo was close, but Bryant is almost .200 OPS points better than what Javy did last year....which is just bonkers.

Cervenka 5K in 2 innings. Lefties with good stuff don't grow in bunches. He's 29K/22IP thus far.

 

I wonder how Rosscup is doing, and whether he'll be back and as good as ever, or will either need surgery or never be the same.

Rosscup threw yesterday in Mesa and Arizona Phil said he looked really good and should be in Iowa or Chicago soon.

Adding guys like Rosscup/Rivera/Vizcaino is going to make the BP absolutely ridiculous next year. Can't help but feel bad for Parker though.
