Missed it. What was it?

I said I didn't think the team was all that bad and that the pythag record was more representative of the true talent level. He asked if I'd set the over/under for the next 39 games (it was after game 39) at 19 wins. I said I wouldn't go quite that high, but I'd said it should be much higher than the 13 they won in their first 39.

 

I believe that was right before the three game win streak (and I'm counting this one already).

Sure, he gets some credit for being a fly-ball pitcher who is relatively good at preventing home runs, but he's still pretty average-ish, maybe a bit above average.

 

I thought he was underrated when he lost his job to Chris freaking Volstad, but now that he put up a 3.11 ERA that one time he's become overrated. He's still the same guy.
