For non ESPN watchers, they just said the Cubs have 2 wins when they trail at any point in the game. That's ridiculous.

 

This offseason we really need to sign more players who have a good AVG with RISP while their team is trailing.

To be fair, most pitchers look like 20 game winners against this offense. It really is one of the most pathetic bunch of spare parts I have ever seen.

Lake is lost. I think there are some players for whom a platoon is a bad thing. It looks to me like he's trying to do too much every at bat. His swings are wild and out of control. I guess he'll have to adjust or learn some Japanese.
