Trey Martin for me as we wind this up. Fun times! We should start it a little sooner next offseason so we can wrap it up by early April.

Clifton. I want some major-league potential here, not just somebody who hopes to get to PCL someday.

Andreoli has definite fourth OF potential and Pugliese could be a future bullpen piece. I mean, [expletive], we're at 50 here, but it's something.

Plate discipline and baserunning are 2 skills that play ~ at every level. Andreoli is elite at both. I think he should be higher on this list.

I don't know if I can agree with that. Those are both skills that can look very good in the low minors when everyone is terrible, but erode as you move up.

As I've said 57983 times on this forum, he's at least on the same level as Szczur.

Shall we do one last tiebreaker?

I agree that they play down, just not as severely as other tools. In AA, you've got to think that these skills have at least a decent chance to translate. I certainly think pitchers with better control can force him to put the bat on the ball, but I don't think he's going to start chasing pitches.

As far as the baserunning, the guy has a 92/11 SB/CS ratio over the last two years. That's ridiculous at any level.

I'm going to bump this periodically to give updates on

#51 prospect John Andreoli. Currently has a .430 OBP and is on pace for around 72 SB with 4 CS.
