By zooming in, it looks like about 98% of the city and adjacent suburbs are White Sox fans, while the Cubs have most of the midwest. I have trouble believing the Sox have that many fans in the city and nearby suburbs.

Not true. If you zoom in enough and know your suburban geography, you'll see they basically show I-88/290 as the dividing line between fandoms, with the exception being The Naperville/Lisle/Woodridge/Bolingbrook areas shown as predominantly Cubs fans. This makes more sense as there are not more Sox fans in the Chicago area than Cubs fans.

There are three teams that don't show up on the map for a single zip code.

Toronto is understandable since Canada is not mapped.

Oakland and the Mets are just dominated by the Giants and Yankees, though. They can't even carry the zip code where the stadiums are located.

That cracked me up. According to that the Mets are only tied for 2nd with Boston in Hoboken.

Yea it seems pretty accurate to me. I viewed it on my phone so it was a little difficult to pick everything out, but was there a pocket of cubs strength in Hyde Park?

Interesting to compare this with the TV territory map. Close correlation for some clubs (Atlanta) and almost none for others (Houston.)

Gotta love how six teams (Cubs, White Sox, Cardinals, Royals, Brewers, Twins) claim the entire state of Iowa as home territory. That's all the proof you need that MLB's blackout rules are asinine.

this is BS. It says were I live it is 45% Cubs 35% White Sox and some Cards. In reality it is about 50/50 Cards and Cubs. I dont know any White Sox fans
