Packers select Demarcus Lawrence out of Boise State. He's had off the field issues but for a later 3rd round pick, this could be a huge steal. He would provide depth at a position that has been plagued by injury the last few years with Matthews and Perry both missing considerable time. The OLB rotation with Matthews-Perry-Peppers-Lawrence would be a pretty formidable one.

Chiefs take Gabe Jackson - G - Ole Miss

This might be a bit early, but I really like everything I've read about this kid. The Colts lost Antoine Bethea and haven't really replaced him to this point and they need help in the secondary. So, they select a kid who has had injury problems and can be a bit headstrong/arrogant, but has the ability to play corner or safety and has a ton of talent and upside. A very close runner-up for this pick was Ego Ferguson of LSU, but the need in the secondary was greater.

Colts select Antone Exum, CB/S, Virginia Tech.

Saints select Aaron Murray - QB - Georgia

He apparently has a lot of the same skill set as Brees and is the same size, etc. He could learn alot. Saints may need to start preparing for life after Brees.

I would probably have grabbed a RB here, but all the backs I like are off the board. Carolina needs as many WRs as they can get and could use a game-breaking returner. Might as well grab the best imitation of Steve Smith available in the draft and select Dri Archer, Kent State.

Lets try to find someone who the Pats could plug and play a little this year as well as help out on ST. Safety has long been a concern. I like Deone Bucannon out of Washington St. Reminds me a bit of Bernard Pollard. That'd be a fun thing for the Pats to have.

S Deone Bucannon, Washington St.

Can't u choose a QB so the rest of the draft is realistic?

Jk sorta

A) That is not necessarily more realistic.

B) That is not necessarily the point of this exercise.

Obviously pre-draft talk/rumor is always up for scrutiny, but almost all signs point to it being a QB. I'll be pretty surprised if it's not. If Clowney is taken I'll gladly eat crow for buying too much into the pre-draft rumors. It seems pretty obvious the direction they'll go at the moment

Gladly. I should post funnier or more accurate jokes. My failure to do either is an embarrassment to myself and insult to your diligence in mockery/mocking (unsure of what mock is short for).
