I think need wise CB, ILB, and RB are all in play here. Based on what's available I'm gonna get that first RB off the board. I'm sure Browns fans would want the Ohio State guy but I'm going Bishop Sankey, RB, Washington.

Should form a good duo with Tate and continue to build around Gordon and the first two picks. With plenty more picks, defensive depth will wait.

If we had the option, I'd have likely traded up before the Texans to ensure I got Garoppolo, but that didn't happen.

So, with no QBs worthy of the pick here (Mettenberger is the only one I would consider, but, while I like him, I don't like him enough for this early), the Jags will pull a bit of a surprise and take the lightning to Gerhart's thunder.

The Jags select Tre Mason, RB, Auburn.

The next two picks were PMd - Vikings take Kyle Van Noy, LB, BYU and Bills take Chris Borland, LB, Wisconsin.

Next up is the Titans and, with Michael Roos likely in his final season and Michael Oher not being a left tackle and only being average as a right tackle, they choose to take a potential top-end tackle to provide depth this year and hopefully be a starter for many years to come.

Titans select Ja'Waun James, OT, Tennessee. goony and the Giants are up.

Cody Latimer starting offense.

Don't know much about him but it looks like a consensus is building that he's climbing boards, and receivers are starling to come off the board. Plus that name, can't pass on it.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington

Would probably lean toward receiver at this spot but there's been a bit of run on them and they could really make use of a TE. Maybe some people have Amaro ranked higher, but Jace is a stupid name.

For the Bears, who took Aaron Donald in the first, here are guys I'd consider now:

Dominique Easley, DT, Florida - double down on DT?

Scott Crichton, DE, Oregon State

Deone Bucannon, SS, Washington State

Stephon Tuitt, DT, Notre Dame

Pierre Desir, CB, Lindenwood

Will Sutton, DT, Arizona State

Bashaud Breeland, CB, Clemson

Lamarcus Joyner, CB/S, Florida State

Weston Richburg, C, Colorado State

Sure seems like some nice depth on the DL in round 2 for the real draft. I'd go with Bucannon or Crichton.

Bucannon. Id love to double down on DT but not 2 undersized DTS. Tuitt would be tough to pass on if I thought he could handle DT full time, but idk. I think the names after Tuitt on that list may be there in the 3rd.

Wouldn't taking a 2nd DT this early, even in the 3rd, be a bit of a waste for 2014? With Paea, Ratliff, Collins, and Donsld(in this scenario), isnt it a waste of a roster spot in 2014? A year we should be trying to find guys to come in and compete for jobs. We only keep 4 DT's active and I figure we've got other positions we need to address still, prior to injury concerns. I'm more apt to take one later and even spend another very early pick next year on the spot.

I think so. You gotta go secondary with 1 of the first 2 picks IMO. We have little to no corner depth.

Deone Bucannon it is. Raw and the Cardinals are on the clock.
