As I'm sure Raisin will be taking suggestions, it's sure to be between Dix and Donald. While I dong love the idea of 1st round S, but I like Dix a lot and I feel there is a better shot of getting a DT in round two than a S. So I would choose Dix, but it's close.

YEAH U DO!

Id use the same reasoning to make the opposite pick. I think the 2nd round safeties Bucannon, Ward, Brooks are better than the 2nd round DT options like Sutton, Quarles, etc. Unless they are really confident on Easley's knees. Plus I like Pryor slightly more than HCD.

I'm still perplexed that Robinson (considered by most analysts to be a Walter Jones clone) fell so far. If that really happens next month the Bears should trade up to get him. Jay won't get his uni dirty all year. (I'm kidding - sort of...)

Can't u choose a QB so the rest of the draft is realistic?

Jk sorta

I just picked how I'd pick if I were them. He is the best player.

I could see an unlikely scenario where he drops a bit (though not outside the top 10). Robinson is a bit of a workout warrior in that I don't recall him being considered nearly this highly until his incredible combine performance. That could cause Matthews or Lewan to be taken before him and he could slide a tad.

The pick for the Cowboys comes down to safety or DE. While Dix is still on the board, I think the Cowboys need to improve along the d-line. This may be a reach, but the Cowboys take Kony Ealy, DE Mizzou.

Unless his stock has dropped a lot recently, I don't think it's a reach.

Just looked back at our 2011 Mock. lol

It's a mix between what we think the team will do and what we think the team should do. That affects the accuracy a bit.

Understood, but some of the other years had a certain degree of accuracy. 2011 was a total fail, both in terms of who went where, as well as who would even be good.

Part of his rise is that a lot of scouts weren't on him early in the season as he had a breakout season as an underclassman. I personally think he's the second best prospect in the draft behind Clowney.

Good point. He's definitely my #1 tackle, though I like Watkins a lot so I'm not sure if I have a clear-cut second best prospect.

You're right on who went where, that was a total disaster. We didn't start really struggling with who would be good until the second half of the first round, though. Watt went way too late, but most of the first half of the first round turned out pretty good.

Ravens are usually a BPA team and this pick will also be a nice weapon for Flacco as well.

Eric Ebron, TE North Carolina

(Also considered Dix)

Was going to take him for the Jets, but now I've got to think of somebody else.

Dolphins take Zack Martin, OL, Notre Dame.

The Cardinals are a pretty good looking team on paper. Pretty talented team that won 10 games and didn't lose much while adding Cromartie on the corner opposite Peterson. Could use help at ILB, TE, and eventually a franchise QB to take over for Palmer. But I went with S and who I think is BPA.

Cardinals select S Calvin Pryor, Louisville.
