Shouldn't that have been called infield fly rule anyway?

 

infield fly is only 1st and 2nd or bases loaded

 

Huh, I didn't realize that. I thought it was if there was a force at any base.

It's not because in this case the offensive team isn't hurt by the drop. With runners on 1st and 2nd every IF could just intentionally let every pop-up drop in and get 2 outs

It will never stop with Castro, will it?

 

At least he can hit now and also that didn't hurt.

I mean it was a shitty play but that was a really high flyout and it actually worked out better for us because it got Wong off the bases.

Castro was looking at Wong and that's why he dropped it, I don't think it's anything to worry about

Seriously, screw this.

 

Every year, the same crap, in a few different flavors. If it's not leaving runners on base, or the bullpen walking the park, it's flying out to the warning track 15 times a game.
