Skip Bayless ‏@RealSkipBayless 56m

If Tom Brady had been Green Bay's quarterback today, Green Bay would've won.

That's true.

Just when you think Skip Bayless has run out of stupid things to say...

The guy was offsides and the 49ers declined the penalty.

It's really funny though how many media types didn't realize this and were fawning over that gif after the game.

I'm guessing it's mostly due to Aikman and Buck doing a horrible job and not even acknowledging a flag was thrown and the 49ers had declined the penalty.

My friends and I have been discussing Drew Brees recently. They are blaming his recent struggles on a poor O-line, which is a problem, but I really think Drew is slowing down a touch. He is a 5' 11" QB that has excelled due to his athleticism, endless film study and Sean Payton. Now he's having more and more trouble finding throwing lanes over great D-linemen, he isn't eluding the rush as well and he hasn't thrown a great deep ball in a couple of years. Maybe he's just relied too much on Jimmy Graham and doesn't check down as often, which I have also heard. I maintain that he is still great, just not the incredible Drew that we knew in the Super Bowl season. OMC, or anyone else who has watched a lot of Saints games over the years, input on this?

He checks down too much. He had 2 RBs go over 70 catches. But yeah, I don't think he's lost much. The deep ball thing probably has something to it, but it coincides with the same time his deep threats Meachem and Henderson both fell off. I think Brees may be adjusting to losing a little arm, but he should be fine. It's not like his numbers are suffering at all.

Having an offense that involves Sproles and Graham means less checks down the field for sure.

Although I think the right answer is contained within this wonderfully scientific equation: Since 2006 every time Drew gets hit I will basically yell "Look out! Oh isht! Please get up!". I've yelled that a hell of a lot more this year, so I think him not looking his best is mostly due to the line sucking so hard.

For example, in the previous 4 seasons his sack stats were: 20, 25, 24, and 26. This year it was 37 times.

I keep going back and forth on this. While I think he has missed on the deep ball more this year than any time since I've watched him, Drew's problems may be with Payton's play calling. He was at his best when he had Deuce, Mike Bell or Ivory running the ball for him. I don't care how great you are, when you throw the ball 50 times a game you are going to make some mistakes. He can't carry a team the way he has in the past, not with this line.

Starting to geek out about the Saints/Seahawks. There is a path to a Saints win.

Sean Payton has to call a game like last week. Everyone has been screaming this since midseason, and he finally did it against the Eagles. Please Sean, more of the same. Whether it's Ingram, Sproles or Robinson we have to get some run production. Drew has to be able to stretch the field, maybe getting Stills or Meacham more involved.

Yes, I realize that I am setting myself up for disappointment.

Yes, yes you are.

I am excited to see what Ingram can do again. Other than Manziel, Ingram was the most frustrating opponent I've ever seen in person in a college game. You simply could not bring him down in college until your fourth or fifth guy got a hand on him. I saw flashes of that guy last week. Here's hoping for more.

So did Ingram took roids like a month ago? It's a completely different player out there.

No he's just finally getting consistent snaps for the first time in his pro career. I've said it before, but if he played for a rush first team he could be a 1500 yard guy.

He's still not really getting consistent snaps. He looks better, faster, and cuts are sharper and making defenders miss this year more than in '10 or '11. I thought '10/'11 Ingram looks like this year's Trent Richardson and this year he looks more like Eddie Lacy. Did Ingram lose any weight this year?

I feel like that's what Richardson needs to do this offseason. Lose about 20 lbs and get a little bit of the elusiveness/speed back.

Dan Quinn and Michael Bennett are making themselves a lot of money today.

Also, for all the talk about how dominating Seattle is, it's a one-score game.

Seattle's defense has covered up for their mediocre offense today. Only one TD and that was on a shortened field following Ingram's fumble.
