"When they went ahead, we proved we deserved to be in the predictment we were in. Then my team just jumped on my back and they rode me all the way in!"

In his defense, he just learned that word a couple months ago when he got away with raping a girl. He's still working out the kinks.

Well, that was exciting.

Are you actually sober already?

I was thinking while watching the game last night that in most cases I would much rather cheer for a team like Auburn than FSU. Too bad all the SEC is the greatest stuff has made me cheer against all their teams in bowl games. Chanting SEC in the middle of the 2nd quarter? Would any other fanbase from any other conference do that? I was way more happy that Auburn lost last night than FSU winning. I didn't watch Auburn much this year so I am not sure this is true, but their defense seemed to be largely influenced by MSU. Take away the nickle and dime stuff, be physical with receivers in man coverage, try to put as much pressure as possible up front.

Oh and Musberger has become almost un-watchable. I used to not have much feelings about him either way, but the last couple of years I have noticed that I am disliking him more and more every time I watch.

I am sure that MSU will end up 3rd in the final rankings. I don't think we are the 3rd best team but oh well.

I heard a SEC fan the other day saying that it is too bad the kids have to graduate college and step down in talent level to the NFL.

I never argue that they are not the best conference. But it is not like they are waaaaay better. 2 schools that had dynasty type runs in the last 8 yrs have been the backbone of their BCS dominance. Before Florida it was USC, before USC it was Miami, before Miami it was Nebraska and so on and so on. FSU may become the next. If that happens it will probably not mean that the SEC is not the best conference anymore, just that they do not have the best team

Next year looks to be a good college football season. Not sure who is leaving for FSU or Auburn yet, but both QBs will be back. The Pac-12 looks to be loaded. Oregon is bringing back Mariota. Arizona, USC, Arizona St, Stanford, UCLA, and Washington are all top 25 teams. Ohio St bringing back their QB.

Looking over that list, IMO, ranked too high are LSU, Georgia and A&M.

Ranked too low are South Carolina, UCLA, Ole Miss.

Oklahoma be like: "We be Alabama in a bowl game!"

The last minute loss was heartbreaking, but I'm proud of this Auburn team. My wife and I witnessed an incredible game last night, and the atmosphere was electric. The secondary has been the Achilles heel all season, and we are losing three starting dbs to graduation. I do think we have some younger guys that may be able to step up and defend the pass at the same level. Greg Robinson will enter the draft early, and I'm sure trey mason will also as he's probably a 3rd rounder and can't do much if anything to improve his stock.

Auburn had the biggest turnaround in cfb history. Great season .

The LSU ranking floored me. It's like they ignore LSU's departures but pay attention to, say, South Carolina's (Shaw, Clowney). I know LSU recruits far better but I can't imagine they're a top 10 team.

I think that's about where UCLA will start in the polls. They do get Oregon and Stanford in Pasadena.

It's going to be interesting to see what the A&M offense looks like with a new QB running it. We will have a very talented sophomore QB in Kenny Hill returning. He ran a similar offense in HS but didn't get much PT this year because our D sucked so bad that we rarely got a big enough lead to get him in the game. Plus 5-star QB (some rank him as the #1 QB in the country) Kyle Allen from AZ starts class next week so he will have spring ball under his belt too. The defense HAS to get a lot better. I am confident that it will improve, but unsure as to how much.

Really like Kyle Allen's game, I don't know about your other QBs but I think you'd be better off taking your lumps and starting him as a freshman.

I'm happy I wasn't drinking. There was no way I would have made it through the game - I would have been done at the half.

He may win the job especially with a chance to play spring ball but Kenny Hill was a 4-star QB out of a football factory in Southlake Carroll so he shouldn't be overlooked.

Just realized Mizzou wasn't on that list, they should be on any preseason top 15. That's easily the most glaring omission. But please, make sure a 4-8 Florida gets on there.

Florida has a LONG way to go, which is inexcusable in that state. They just don't have the players on that squad that they used to have.

Stanford and Oregon at 3/4 is a joke. They love keeping the west coast interested i guess.

South Carolina finishes at #4 and opens at #13? Injustice. Every good team loses great players every year. Losing two DL to the NFL is huge (esp with one being clowney) but Thompson won @ clemson and at one point played himself into a QB controvesy with shaw. Ellington leaving early doesnt really mean anything to me. Maybe Alshon's brother shows some family talent next year. The ball coach has turned in better team rankings than recruiting rankings every year and I feel like USC should be considered the favorite for the SEC East this year.

I hate getting hot and bothered by these AP rankings, but really? Florida at 25? It was the offensive coordinator's fault that Jeff Driskel is [expletive]?

I think next season is going to be a down one for the SEC.

I think Stanford will be down (especially with their ugly schedule) but Oregon deserves to be ranked that high.
