The drive after that

 

On 4th and 11 from our own 35?

 

Better chance to get 11 than to score and a 2 point conversion here

As bad as Jay was, unless he was significantly more hurt on that last drive, I don't see any reason why McCown comes in now

Yes given the situation and how low probability it is for the team to win it doesn't seem like there's any reason to put him in at this late a stage

I feel like the word ankle should be "ankle".

 

This feels like "odds are we aren't going to score; let's not let the franchise QB take any cheap shots from a defense that is full of douchebags."
