Crazy how bunched up the West is. The hawks have the most points in the league but are only 2 points ahead of the 2 Wild Card spots.

4 points ahead of everyone in the East. 2 points away from being 8th seed in the West.

Toews wrecked Dubnyk on that breakaway. Not even fair.

And Keith now has 20 points in 24 1/3 games. Norris finalist I'll bet though I can see Petro getting his first this year.

it's not often that a guy gets a net that wide open on a breakaway. that was crazy.

The Blackhawks, sole beacons of hope in a depressing stretch of Chicago sports, win again.

I feel sorry for Chicagoans that don't like Hockey because they are missing out on a dominant team.

I still lived there during the Bulls run and that did nothing for me, except for an excuse for some fun parties.

That's [expletive] crazy; the Bulls had the greatest player ever. There's no way this stuff even comes close.

Yeah I was an insane Bulls fan as as kid. I haven't really thought about it in awhile but in 1992 we had the Bulls and Hawks in the Finals. Crazy.

I have no way to gauge but I have to think the Hawks' recent success is growing the fan base, the real fan base not just the bandwagoners, and the impact of the current success will be felt for decades.

1/3rd of the way at least. I wasn't a bulls fan. My sports fandom grew from the sports I played. Football and baseball were obvious. As a wrestler our mortal enemies were the basketball team pretty boys (it was the suburbs), so I never followed the sport. I never played organized hockey but played a lot of backyard and pond hockey and eventually the rent out a rink at midnight version as well.

Imagine the parties in Edmonton in the 80's
