Meh.

 

Goaltending is just slightly starting to worry me. khabi has to be done. Crawfords numbers are quite mediocre this year.

 

 

 

Some of this may because he's being over played because Khabi wasn't up to the task. Craw is second only to Mike Smith in TOI for goalies so far. I doubt that he would have seen the ice except for Khabi's injury, no matter how bad Khabi did tonight.

 

Time to see if Raanta is ready.

See? When Khabibulin never sees the ice, the whole game goes better.

 

And also Versteeg is more than just a silly bitch from the 2010 team.

The Hawks blew out a good team with Sheldon F. Brookbank playing forward. It's amazing how good this team is when they care about what happens. It was really nice to see Oduya lead the team in TOI with ~21:00.

 

I'd like to see Raanta on Tuesday. The boys will play well in front of him.

 

I'd like to never see Bollig and Brookbank both playing forward on the same night again. Bollig may be a reasonable 4th line player now but the net effect of having him in the lineup is double shifting Kane and Toews which will come back to haunt them later in the season when it really counts.

I have to think one of these times Winnipeg is going to give us a good game. They definitely don't want to get embarrassed again in their own house. I'm a little concerned about this one.
