i still really like what Trestman is doing. Too bad about this game, and its too bad the defense is kinda...in shambles. And the special teams has decided to become really awful.

 

It'll be an up and down year all year i think. Blergh, oh well. its a good foundation.

 

Defense has given up 23 points (3 of them on a 5-yard field).

 

I'm thinking of the year to this point

 

Obviously 10 points wont win you anything in this NFL anyway. Its a messy game for the team all around

 

EDIT: What happened? My feed died

 

Briggs jumped offsides on 4th and 1. Saints went hard count and didn't look like they were interested in snapping the ball.

yeah the frustrating thing about this likely loss is that there really isnt any one unit you can blame the majority of the loss on. Defense gives up 20 (23 technically), doesnt have any turnovers, allows a lot of 3rd down conversions, terrible penalties, etc but come on 20-27 points against the saints isnt terrible. Offense scores 10 points, offensive line was terrible early, WRs had trouble getting open in the red zone and had critical drops but can't really say thats a big reason why we lost. Coaching maybe? I don't know.

 

Think its just a matter of a superior team coming into Soldier Field and taking care of business.

dont worry! the Bears will hold them to a field goal and score two touchdowns with 2 point conversions in 3 minutes like they did last game!

3x40 seconds=2 minutes. They'll be lucky to see a punt
