Bryant 0-3, with a BB and 2K's today.

Apparently stole a base, too

My first thought when someone mentioned Almora walked yesterday was that maybe they were letting him pitch and the person had typo'd balk.

he started taking walks around the same time baez did

I’ll try to sprinkle some early thoughts here in a series of blog posts. Here’s the first one.

Kris Bryant is really good. Not only has the Cubs prospect (and No. 2 overall pick) started his Fall League by going 8-for-18 with two homers and a double, he puts on a ridiculous batting practice show. The power is beyond legit. He’s also an early member of the All-Interview Team: very engaging and thoughtful. He even was happy to talk to me about how he started with his wide stance (sophomore season). I was particularly curious because my 12-year-old son, Ziv, has been using something very similar.

What the [expletive] kind of name is Ziv?

I like to think he has two other kids names Zel and Zevoe

Bryant's bat is poison.

Don't understand how Bryant's ceiling is only a high 6 in Parks's book when he has such crazy power.

Just his opinion. I have Bryant higher than a role 6 ceiling, and I'm sure many others do too.

Come on Sulley, you know how nebulous this nonsense is. It's just a projection with no real objective anchor. Bryant can be any number you want him to be.

bryant is a 6 on my scale of -3 to 6. that makes him a 95 third baseman!

The Solar Sox are making me question my belief that baseball is crazy enough that a team can't possibly be stacked enough to win like all of their games.
