Agreed. You never want to play a team where their perception is worse than their ability. That is exactly the scenario when teams play the top FCS teams (they have a better chance of an upset than probably the last 30-40 FBS teams, but most people don't give them that sort of credit), and playing a bottom tier FCS team is just awful for your schedule strength.

I get it that some of you guys have a blind hatred for the SEC, but sometimes you let that cloud your thinking. Even teams like Va Tech and North Carolina looked pretty tough when the schedule was put together. But carry on with that logic.

Secondly, yes I would argue that point, year after year. What are the big games this weekend?

Alabama at Va Tech

LSU/TCU

Georgia at Clemson

And that's not to mention Miss St at OK St.

 

What's the next biggest game around the country involving BCS conferences?

Northwestern at Cal?

Syracuse at Penn St?
