He's one of SCS' favorites. Other than that, no, I know nothing other than he did well in the DSL when he was way too old for it.

He was scheduled to pitch the day he was traded. So he's ready to go. The problem is the Cubs promoted him from Low-A Hickory to High-A Daytona, which means we really have no idea when or if he will ever pitch again.

I have a few major memories from my last trip to Florida (Orlando). Great weather, International Drive is exactly the same on one end as it is on the other, toll booths every damn where, and holy crap does the tap water there taste bad.

Agreed, I hope we see Arrieta up and starting in the next few weeks. I'd like to see him get 5-7 starts the rest of the year.
