Love me some Blackburn day. Pitch better than last time, guy.

I think there's a decent chance Erick Leal goes in the AZL today if my math is right.

It's possible but they normally send the young guys on 5 days rest and Prieto last pitched on 7/1 (5 days rest) while Leal last pitched on 7/2 (4 days rest).

I feel like Pierce Johnson's awesome bounce back start yesterday went largely unnoticed.

5 IP, 5 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 5 K, 3-5 GO/FO. ERA down to 3.38

they couldn't have come up with a harmless white lie to avoid telling the world he has hemorrhoids?

When I had hemorrhoids I could barely walk. Gamer.

And after Baez finally gets out of Daytona's [expletive] weather, Tenn gets rained out.

OH COME THE [expletive] ON

So Almora's issue yesterday was hemorrhoids.

So I tell my girlfriend this and mention that he's 19 yrs old. She's a nurse and immediately responds, sort of sheepishly, "So is he, um, you know?". I told her I have no idea if a Cubs outfield prospect is gay, but I was thoroughly amused that that was the immediate medical thought that came to her mind.
