I remember I think it was 06 his rookie year and he came in in the crosstown classic against the Sox and his stuff was just electric.

 

I think he might have started a couple games in 05 but this was his first year fully in the bullpen and I was just in awe.

 

I think he even got the save against the Sox even though he wasnt a closer yet. I told my dad this guy is going to be dominant.

 

 

Wish someone would post how historically great his stats were a few of those years. He was really amazing for a good stretch.

 

He didn't really come up as a reliever until sometime in mid-07. Sometime around when that team started to turn around, IIRC.

 

06 was when he had a bunch of starts and was pretty bad.

Later this week the 10 days will be up, and he can refuse the assignment and become a FA. He was DFA'd on the 25th so I believe that would be 10 days on the holiday.

Eww, I hope not. Muskat retweeted someone mentioning the return looks to be someone that was recently on Dodgers roster. Maybe a straight up DFA swap of Marmol for Guerrier? Luis Cruz is a special kind of awful. Not sure who all has been up and down with them this year. A guy like Alex Castellanos would be OK.
