Granted, a TON of it was from defense, but holy [expletive], Ryan Sweeney was a 4 win player in 2009

FYI, "I'm going to disagree indiscriminately" is not the same as "dual fronts".

He's already matched his WAR (.6) from last year in 23 fewer games and over 100 less PA. His underlying numbers aren't totally out of line from his career either. His BB and K %'s are roughly the same and his BABIP is only about .015 points higher this year. Only thing that is way out of whack is his HR/FB rate is 8% higher than his career.

Did anyone hear that douche Hollandsworth calling out Sweeney on the postgame? Basically said that hit Sweeney took shouldn't have resulted in this injury

Basically? Or this was your interpretation?

He did say he couldn't believe that hit caused that injury(his words). Which strikes me as odd, I mean, I don't know what he is getting at.......I'm sure the absolute last thing in the world Sweeney wanted was to be sidelined at this point.

Well I just watched this video and if this is what you are talking about I have no idea how you are coming up with that interpretation.

Kap and Todd basically said it didn't look like a bad collision but sometimes you just don't know, and maybe he had a previous issue that got reaggravated. There was no "calling out" or something else that he was "getting at".

Considering he was having the best period of his career, I highly doubt there was a previous injury, could it be possible, that he was just hurt on that play? There is no point for those two knuckleheads to start a conspiracy.

Jimminy Christmas where are you coming up with this nonsense? Conspiracy?

Given how his wordy screen name is so similar to other similarly wordy screen names for other similarly crazy posters, this particular crazy theory isn't too surprising.

Talk about twisting words. You obviously are just trying to make up a controversy for the heck of it.

The 2013 Chicago Cubs, where Ryan Sweeney injury conspiracy theories are one of the 3 most interesting things to happen to the MLB club.
