I can live with the approach problems so long as raw ability keeps outpacing the leagues he's facing. I can live with a 280/310/500 line from a SS, 3b, 2b or whatever he ends up becoming.

He's actually catching up to Soler in OPS, .840 to what i'll guesstimate as Soler's .870 after the day.

After his start to this game, Baez is now 3rd in the FSL in total bases with 107. The league leader (Sano) actually has a worse K rate (much better BB rate, and is tearing the cover off the ball too).

i still hope that the struggles as he goes up the ladder in the minors force him to at least fix his approach somewhat
