Haven't seen him much but Snell is nice value at 20, though certainly not a position of need.

And there were guys I preferred over Noah in 2007, guys I preferred over Taj in 2009, and guys I preferred over Mirotic and Butler in 2011. Ill put my trust in Forman/Paxson when it comes to the draft and take a wait and see approach.

All mocks had him late 1st/early 2nd, no?

I don't worry too much once you get that far into the draft - you're just hoping for role players. As you mentioned, Gibson and Butler turned out well...and Gibson in particular was considered a reach.

Yeah, agreed. Guys who can defend and hit 3s are very valuable right now. Snell looks like he may be able to do both at an above average level in the NBA.

For the record I would have gone Dieng if the choice were up to me.

@KCJHoop: Intriguing option for Bulls: Hearing Toronto will decline team option on John Lucas III.

Intriguing, you guys. Intriguing.

If we're bringing back former Bulls, I'd rather get Korver.

Above average defenders that are above average 3 point shooters usually aren't found outside the lottery.

Bullock was there at that pick, he was even there 5 picks later.

The best news of the night was MJ and the Bobcats drafting Adam Morrison again. The Bulls are pretty much assured of getting that 2016 lottery pick, even if the Bobcats get Wiggins next year, that won't be enough to get them out of the lottery by 2015-16. That pick is a major asset right now.

Are there any super studs set to graduate high school in 2015?

In a surprising move, a league source said the Bulls will not renew the contract of lead assistant coach Ron Adams, whose deal expires Sunday.

According to sources, general manager Gar Forman made the decision, not Thibodeau. Forman informed Adams on Friday.

I didn't even realize he was still around.

Any interest in Mo Williams? Or Will Bynum? Really don't see any need for Bynum as he can't shoot. Williams is a 38% 3 point shooter who can handle and create. Wouldn't mind going small and seeing Mo, Rose, Butler, Deng, Noah play together.

I really wish we didn't have Kirk signed for this year.

Really don't like to hear that Gar is meddling with affairs, considering Thibs is 1000000000000000X more important to this franchise than Gar [expletive] Foreman.

If its true that Adams was openly questioning managements moves, the move had to be made and I'm not sure even Thibs could dispute that. I'm totally okay with it.

The following people openly criticize management:

- Fans

- Media

- Coaches and players on crappy teams

- Coaches or players looking to force a move

The only one Adams could possibly qualify is 4. Not sure why he wants out, but happy to oblige.

Ron Adams job was a defensive specialist, a position frankly not that important with Thibs as head coach.

Its one thing to openly question moves around the inner circle of the team and openly question moves publicly to the media, the latter Adams didn't do. The really smells of a pissing match to be honest. Edited by GammonsPocketTweets

Agreed.

At least GarPax didn't grab him by the tie and shove him*

Thibs' is under contract for like 4 more years. If at the end of that, he bolts because of Adams...that will be quite the story.
