Oh yes, because the come back victories have been so plentiful and the games blown by the bullpen have been so rare.

 

When you predict that the game is over in the 8th inning 162 times a year, you'll probably be right 75% of the time, and you'll be annoying, pointless, and stupid 100% of the time.

I know it's easy to say now, and Schierholtz has been good (and clutch) lately, but don't you use Hairston there? He hits a lot of fly balls, and is obviously much less apt to GIDP than a lefty vs. a LHP?

 

Not as obvious a decision as the bullpen failures, but I think I would have send Hairston up.
