This is the only real complaint I have with Sveum. I don't feel he manages his bullpen well at all, but hopefully he learns.

I mostly give him a pass because the bullpen is so terrible there's not much to be done, but this one annoyed me a little.

Another day, another blown save; but since that was the 1st ER Russell's given up all season, he gets a mulligan. I didn't realize how good the guys been this season. 2/16 BB/K in just over 13IP.

Well, I guess it was predictable that the stupid call sending Ransom back to first would instantly result in a double play.

It seems weird, but despite the fact that Russell gave up a run, it was the wrong move to put him in because any pitcher giving up a run there is unlikely and Russell needs to be saved for more important spots.
