The last minute or 1:15 of that audio is just great. there's complete silence (or maybe hawk just mumbling incoherently for a short time), then stone chimes in with something because the silence has become ridiculous and it's becoming painfully obvious how unprofessional it is to just have minutes of dead air in the 9th inning of a tie game, then hawk starts moaning again. what a dumb dick. how do white sox fans listen to him?

The reveal on that one was fantastic. I could watch this all night.

What am I missing?

What am I missing?

The fact that the 2B had a cup of coffee between the time he caught the ball and threw it because Molina is super fast.

I think he's calling the camera panning over and showing Molina still a few steps away after all that the reveal.

Robinson's first baseman (Was that Powell?) didn't give him any help on that stretch.

He didn't, but Robinson's throw also had a short hop to it, while Machado's was on the fly. Maybe the first baseman was just worried about playing it cleanly?

Looks like it was Powell, yes. The throw is from the 1970 World Series.

That looks like one of those things that could be broken down to prove how much better modern players are. Aside from him nailing the angle on that throw

Both games against the Cubs also. One at Wrigley and one at PNC.
