No [expletive] way. I'd vote to fold the NHL before I'd give up even a single month of baseball (even in a season like this), and I'd do it without compunction.

 

But seriously, taste in sports is totally subjective, you can't make a case at all.

 

I wish I liked hockey, I'm a Chicago fan and would like to cheer for a championship team, and I've given it a chance, but I just can't muster up a single [expletive] to give about hockey.

I'd like the playoff idea a lot more if I didn't know it were going to expand to 8 and inevitably result in some random 2-loss team sneaking in, somehow getting hot and winning the thing some year. We have enough of that kind of crap in every other major sport besides the NBA.
