They're at least on the "bid thief" table along with Vandy and Alabama in the SEC, UMass in the A-10, Southern Miss in the C-USA, and Maryland in the ACC.

I'd put UMass, Maryland, Iowa, Kentucky, Baylor, Middle Tennessee, and Tennessee in the same group. Probably St. Mary's as well. In my opinion, should be another vote today and tomorrow.

EDIT: kinda drunk tho

Still better than Lunardi.

Or maybe that's why he sucks so much.

Well, yeah.

I still think the last 4/5 in should be decided on Saturday or Sunday, not Friday.

Maybe I'm not thinking this stuff through, but I still don't think Ole Miss is in.

Rebels probably got in with that victory. And if not I'd like to think the odds would be with them tomorrow against a less than average Vandy team that would be playing their third game in as many days. Then again, it's Ole Miss. If they beat Vandy they'd have 25 wins and would be 13-6 in the conference (sucky conference I know). Regardless of SOS, it'd probably be unprecedented for a team from one of the bigger conferences with 25 wins to not make the tourney. Right?

Only got 2 lists today so far, so I'm going to sleep and will post my list in the morning and compile the data. Tomorrow I'l work the remaining teams under discussion into the voting.

Next steps:

1) Rank the next 12 in order, not your team.

2) Rank the remaining 8 in order.

3) Rank the last 4 at-larges (Kentucky, Cal, La Salle, Tennessee) along with the 10 teams in consideration (some in consideration only because they're still alive in their tourney)

4) Bracket the teams we've got in the S-Curve. Should now have seeds 1-6 and 12-16 done.

Any chance Illinois ends up in KC?

Opposite Kansas possibly. Anyone else would create a disadvantage for the protected seed.

Man I hope that happens.

Illinois is exactly the kind of team that could beat us. I'd hate to see them in our bracket.

I just want to see us play again in person.

I'll keep going with the pod list we've been working with (switching some sites around to keep Cuse from having too big a home-court advantage). Let me know if anything's violating a rule and/or is competitively unbalanced.

1 Indiana vs 16 Liberty/MEAC - Dayton (Midwest)

1 Duke vs 16 LIU-Brooklyn/James Madison - Lexington (East)

1 Gonzaga vs 16 Southern - San Jose (West)

1 Louisville vs. 16 Western Kentucky - Lexington (South)

2 Kansas vs 15 America East (South) - Kansas City

2 Michigan vs. 15 Big Sky (East) - Auburn Hills

2 Michigan St. vs 15 Florida Gulf Coast (West) - Auburn Hills

2 Georgetown vs 15 Big West (Midwest) - Austin, TX

3 Miami vs 14 Iona (Midwest) - Philly

3 Ohio State vs 14 Harvard (South) - Dayton

3 New Mexico vs 14 South Dakota State (West) - Salt Lake City

3 Florida vs 14 Davidson (East) - Kansas City

4 Marquette vs 13 Bucknell (East) - Philly

4 Kansas State vs 13 Valparaiso (West) - Salt Lake City

4 Syracuse vs 13 WAC (Midwest) - Austin, TX

4 Wisconsin vs 13 Southland (South) - San Jose

5 Pittsburgh vs 12 MAC (South) - San Jose

5 Arizona vs 12 Kentucky/12 La Salle (Midwest) - Austin, TX

5 Oklahoma State vs 12 California/12 Tennessee (East) - Philly

5 St. Louis vs 12 Belmont (West) - Salt Lake City

6 VCU (West) - Salt Lake City

6 Butler (East) - Kansas City

6 Colorado State (Midwest) - Philly

6 North Carolina (South) - Dayton

Edited to fix VCU being in the DC regional

Way to go, CBS. Cut away from the 4 point Memphis-Southern Miss game with 30 seconds to play to go over the Indiana-Wisconsin pre-game warmups, and everybody missed Southern Miss's comeback to send the game to OT.

They kept it on here. I guess a lesson was learned after cutting away from the Valley championship.

Switch VCU and Butler, actually. No way in hell the committee would put VCU in the Washington, DC regional.

Just curious, was there an order to how you were listing them based on regional? I thought you were going MW-E-W-S and then reverse order but that wasn't the case. Or is it what fits based on playing closer to home for the top seeds?

And are these in order from 1-24 (i.e. is Kansas the best 2 seed)?

The top-6 seeds are all being shown in order, and I did my best to maintain competitive balance while dealing with keeping those 3 B1G teams in different regionals, accounting for travel time, etc.

Is it too reactionary to think Louisville could be the overall #1 seed with a win tonight now that IU is going to get bounced?
