What is the record for most games in a row with a point?

The Flyers went 35 games without a loss in the 1979-80 season. Don't think anyone will ever come close to that.

I think someone mentioned here last week that were not even close. It's in the 30s or something.

We're over halfway there!

A highly entertaining failed shot.

If you figure in the games to end last season we're even closer but still a long way away.

Dammit Anaheim won again. We are up 6 points but have 2 games in hand over them.

I think I know what you mean, but they have two games in hand on us. As in they've played two fewer games.

And yes, it's freaking annoying that we are on a historic run and only up a few points in the conference.

It's strange but I was almost half hoping that the streak would end against the BJs last night. Not that I would ever hope for a Hawks loss but since the streak has to end sooner or later, losing to the BJs would have the least impact on the standings since the Hawks would only be losing 2 points and they'd be losing them to a team that won't be in the playoff picture. Losing to St. Louis, on the other hand, would be a 4 point swing.

In other news, a Caps fan fired the first shot of the "They wouldn't have that record if they had to play the East" nonsense. I responded by saying that the 9th best team in the West (The Wild) could still probably win the NASCAR division.

Power play is really struggling. It needs to improve.

Shocked this is your only post about the game

Edit: not that it's not true

Had to catch it late on DVR. I don't mind if we lose the Pres cup to a team like Anaheim. The regular season champ label scares me.
