Not really that worked up about trading down in the 5th round. I was more annoyed with overdrafting Long.

I really wanted Swope. But Mills IS a nice value. Whether we agree with WHAT Emery did to the O-Line this offseason, he certainly addressed it.

At this stage they may just be wanting to have a lot of options, and keep the best of the bunch. OL is broke, and they're putting massive amounts of spackle on it.

Slauson is going nowhere.

 

Carimi was probably already on blast with the Long pick. I think Britton is more likely to be cut but Carimi will need to step up this year.

 

Mayock seems to think Mills can play LT.
