Why are we so obsessed with sideline/back shoulder stuff everywhere but down by the goal line? We ignore the middle for huge swathes of the field then we just try to jam it in there on slants when there's tons of traffic and the field is compressed.

Exactly. That's on our wily play caller.

kellen davis has single-handedly ruined our season. there are a lot of other contributors, but we have at least one more win if not for that idiot.

He's special because he really takes advantage of his really rare opportunities, he gets maybe 2-3 balls thrown his way a game, and he MUST drop/fumble/fall-down-resulting-in-interception on most of them

this is where the tampa-2 really works, but they're most likely going to go into some sort of prevent.

Yeah. I can't stand it either. We can stop a team all game but will go into prevent at the ends of either half to give up easy scores. The tampa-2 already limits big plays.

He's got 19 catches, I bet he's pretty damn close to that in drops too. That in and of itself is really impressive.

How much of an underdog are we at SF? 10?

At the very least. I can't imagine the Bears staying within 2 TDs personally.

Probably 8 ish for the line. I still think that's the most winnable of the playoff games for the Bears. I'd rather face SF than ATL, GB, WAS, or SEA.

Could be way off but im guessing cutler doesn't trust his WRs to fight for the ball over the middle and doesn't want to throw INTs in FG range and instead is trying to rely on Marshall and Jefferys size to get it done.
