Rob Parker of First Take on RGIII.....

 

“Well, because I want to find out about him,” Parker said. “I don’t know, because I keep hearing these things. We all know he has a white fiancée. There was all this talk about he’s a Republican, which, there’s no information [about that] at all. I’m just trying to dig deeper as to why he has an issue. Because we did find out with Tiger Woods, Tiger Woods was like I’ve got black skin but don’t call me black. So people got to wondering about Tiger Woods early on.”

 

“But time and time we keep hearing this, so it just makes me wonder deeper about him,” Parker went on. “And I’ve talked to some people down in Washington D.C., friends of mine, who are around and at some of the press conferences, people I’ve known for a long time. But my question, which is just a straight honest question. Is he a brother, or is he a cornball brother?”

 

“Well, [that] he’s black, he kind of does his thing, but he’s not really down with the cause, he’s not one of us,” Parker explained. “He’s kind of black, but he’s not really the guy you’d really want to hang out with, because he’s off to do something else.”

That was my first thought. I heard he's already been suspended by ESPN for his comments.

The Rams look as bad today as any team I can remember watching in a full NFL game. The Vikings are up 33-7 on the road without even playing THAT well. Bradford looks like he wants to go home.

Amendola celebrates a 7 minute drive to cut their 4th quarter deficit to 19 by spiking the ball into an old man's face and sending him up the tunnel.

Adrian Peterson up to 212 yards today which leaves him only 188 away from 2000 with two games left. He's also only 293 away from Eric Dickerson's record of 2105.

He had a breakaway run about halfway through the third quarter and I'm pretty sure the only reason he got tackled was because he was tired from running all over the Rams all day by that point. I can only hope DRose gets the same bionic knee AD has.

Tomlinson in '06. Shaun Alexander won it in '05.

 

I'm incredibly biased but he should win it. Yeah Manning has been awesome but they went to the playoffs without a QB last year. The Vikings were 3-13 last year, have the 26th ranked pass offense this year and are 8-6 because he's going to have 1,900-2,100 yards against 8 and 9 man fronts all [expletive] year. They've been without Percy for almost half the year. It's absurd.

I don't mean to sound insensitive but there are a million TV channels where people can watch the President give a speech in CT. There's no reason to cut away from the football game.
