The Pats are everything the Bears are not. What a great franchise from top to bottom.

I especially love how they employ a guy convicted of manslaughter and a guy who beats up cab drivers.

was just wondering the other day, what's leonard little up to these days?

Calvin Johnson needs only 182 yards over his last two games (home to Atlanta and Chicago) to beat Rice's record for receiving yards in a season.

Also, JJ Watt had three sacks today, tying him with Aldon Smith for the league lead at 19.5. They each need 3.5 in the last two weeks to beat Strahan's mark.

Gus Johnson said yesterday that Brian Schottenheimer is a potential head coaching candidate next season. This would be flabbergasting if it actually happens.

Well, with about 7 +/- HC positions opening up presumably every assistant coach in the league is a "candidate." Also Gus Johnson is a [expletive] idiot when it comes to having actual knowledge about the sports he covers.

I guess I'm just astounded that Schottenheimer's name would come up period. This is a guy who yanks Steven Jackson out of the game after he runs for 28 yards on back-to-back carries and calls three straight passes. He's done a decent job developing the Rams offense after Josh McDaniels did everything but chop Bradford's arm off, but I don't think he's good at making mid-game adjustments. I think he's pretty terrible at it.

Nothing I disagree with here. He was pretty awful in NY too. There is going to be such a high level of turnover at HC spots that almost every assistant in the league will probably be mentioned as a potential candidate for most teams, though.

Presumably counting his money.

Uh, sure. The criminal, former pro football player likely saved and invested his money very wisely . . .
