Yeah, the 49ers D just gave up 450 yards to the Rams at home. With the Seahawks and Packers nipping at their heels both teams should be going all out next Monday night.

Not to mention an 80 yard bomb that got called back because of an illegal formation penalty.

3) The TE was our biggest offensive problem. That and a criminal under-usage of Michael Bush.

You cough up the ball you don't get it back.

Bah, you replied too fast. Deleted that post to reword it.

Coughing up the ball in that kind of rain is a bit more forgiveable, imo. On a night like last night, we needed more of Bush's power running.

So we let Kellen Davis [expletive] the bed all game. Do we finally get to see Evan Rodriguez this week?

They're using him as a pure FB. Not a TE. He played last night (though I have no idea on minutes or number of plays or anything.)

I get that, but surely he can play better than Old Blockhands.

S-T Blog: #Bears expected to re-sign veteran QB Josh McCown, most likely later today http://bit.ly/SWQrP5

That's not good.

Is it? He played way better than Campbell in spot duty last year.

I doubt he's going to vault ahead of Campbell. They only have 2 QBs and one just suffered a concussion. It makes plenty of sense to have McCown come in and work as Campbell's backup until Cutler can return.

Yeah, if they thought that McCown was better than Campbell, they'd have kept him as the backup at a much cheaper salary.

I agree Campbell should be better, but this IS the organization that ran Todd Collins out there obliviously two years ago and repeatedly beat their head against the wall with Hanie last year.

Hopefully Campbell settles down this week with a full week to gameplan to his strengths.

Ill pencil this game as a loss. This Bears offense is a complete failure

Of course you will.

Oh you're filled with confidence after that mighty offensive performance of 249 yards and 6 points?

I'm sick of watching my team squander games offensively and look like the Jaguars on offense in big games.

I thought Webb, Carimi and Louis played well along with Marshall. Everybody else sucked the big one.

This 49ers defense is better then the one we faced yesterday.

As much as it sucks when the Bears lose there's at least the consolation of watching you meltdown.

I'd have to agree with N&G. Watching the crazies overreact after a loss is one of the few positives.

Probably. Whenever the Bears lose I enjoy that I can count on these threads to cheer me up at least a little.

Hahahaha. I wish I could enjoy these as much as you do.

I'm on board with this as well.

It just stinks that it's 1/16 of the season, so it still matters a lot, sort of. It was better in 08 with baseball with the lunatics flying off the handle when we were losing a game.

Win next week and the conversation completely changes. That's what is amusing about post game chatter. It's always over the top regardless. Your team is either a bunch of bums, or they're great.

I can't deny I feed into it sometimes :)

Great, now Jay's softness is getting the Bears fined, you guys.

NFL.com reports the league is reviewing the Bears' handling of Jay Cutler's concussion in Sunday night's loss.

Cutler was clearly dazed after taking a helmet-to-helmet shot from Texans ILB Tim Dobbins late in the second quarter, but finished out the half before being ruled out at halftime. The Bears can likely expect a hefty fine. The good news for Cutler's Week 11 prospects is that he has an extra day to get healthy, as the Bears will travel to San Francisco next Monday night.
