abuck is so pissed about that phantom PI call on Baylor that he can't even post

The refs tried a garbage call on a kickoff TD by Baylor earlier, but Baylor scored on the drive anyway.

Has Texas Tech beaten a good team? Got spanked today.

They killed WVU before anyone knew WVU was actually not all that good.

Haden led the committee that hired kiffy

afaik, Mike Garrett hired Kiffin before bailing and having sanctions handed down. It was something of a coup at the time because everyone loved Kiffin being able to hold the recruiting class together.

I don't follow the politics all that closely but I've not read anything that Haden feels like Kiffin is his hire (I can't find anything on some committee).

It's all seemingly moot because Haden just confirmed Kiffin is coming back. Bah.

Nice pass, Florence.

So close to a one-yard pick-6.

The Big 12 stands to gain $14+ million by KSU making the title game and the officials refereeing the game are employed by the Big 12. There's an obvious conflict of interest even if nothing shady is happening.

KSU with a pick at the 1/2 yard line and SU just gifts one to Oregon. Can there be any other conclusion?

iowa st's 3rd string qb hadn't thrown a pass all year until tonight. he's now 17 for his last 18 for 4 tds. kansas is not good.

Man one step forward, two steps back. I really thought we ad a chance to pull a upset. We got worked.

Tavon Austin has 344 yards rushing, 82 yards receiving and 128 yards on kick returns today against Oklahoma.

It's not looking good for Kansas State.

I think Stanford would be winning this game but they seem to keep finding ways to shoot themselves in the foot.

If the games hold as they are now, obviously ND would be in the title game. KState would probably drop to 6.

And when looking at who's going to get BCS at-larges, I'm starting to think a 3 loss Michigan team is only one win against Ohio State away from making it into the BCS once again. Unless there is an upset in a conference title game or the SEC/ACC matchups, there doesn't seem to be another good team to take that last at-large.

Well, there won't be any "Who should be ranked in the top-2" discussions this week.

So would we rather see Alabama / ND or Oregon / ND.

Both games would be interesting. Two traditionally great programs or a great offense vs a great defense. I'm not so sure Notre Dame gets by USC next week though.

Johnny Manziel is a runaway Heisman favorite at the moment with Klein collapsing and Barner being contained.

Alabama-ND would have a chance to be even more boring than last year's game.

I think that ref made a great call.

Shoulder hit in bounds first, I thought. But it will probably stand on replay because it's not indisputable he had possession.

I think part of it depends on what happens next week with Clemson-South Carolina. If Clemson wins, they'll probably get a second ACC spot.

We're locked for an extra SEC team plus Notre Dame. If Oklahoma beats OSU and TCU, they'll get one. That leaves one spot open for the Big 10, ACC and Pac 12 (since the Big East isn't getting a second spot).
