Brewer was hot to start the season last year too. I have little doubt that'll cool off.

Yeah there was a Knicks troll that started a thread on the Bulls RealGM board a week ago thanking us for letting Brewer go and bragging about his hot start, and I reminded him that Brewer started out on fire last year as well and ended up shooting like 18% from 3 the rest of the year after shooting 60% in his first 7-8 games.

9 days between posts in this thread says it all. No enthusiasm for this Bulls team.

Oh and they just blew a 27 point 3rd quarter lead and lost at home to the Bucks. Yuuuuuup

I haven't watched a single minute of a Bulls game this season and I probably won't until Rose comes back. Without him, there is simply no compelling reason to watch them play. Even if he were to come back at full strength, which is unlikely to happen immediately, this team has still taken a step back from last season. They will be more exciting to watch with Rose on the court, but nowhere near a title contender.

thibodeau has been horrible this season. they had a 27 point lead at one point, and deng ends up playing 47 of 48 minutes.

it's time for him to retire his broadcasting career

Rip has a torn plantar fascia in his left foot. "Could be back in a week or so." Belinelli or Butler will start at the two in his place.

Sweet. It honestly didn't seem like a Bulls season without 2 starters out due to injuries.

It especially hurts to happen to Ironman Hamilton.

He is closer to wearing a full suit of armor than most other players.

Pretty exciting if true even if it means we're still looking at February return if there are no setbacks.

Was coming to post this so I'll just paste in the quotes I was going to post:

According to an NBA source, while ‘‘The Return’’ to the court for NBA games is still up in the air for Rose, the all-everything point guard could be just weeks away from practicing with the Bulls again after surgery on his left anterior cruciate ligament last May.

Rose has been cutting on the knee for at least two weeks and was seen running sprinting drills at the Berto Center after the Monday practice, with one sprint leaving teammate Kirk Hinrich yelling out in encouragement.

I'd feel a little bit better about that story if somebody besides Joe Cowley wrote it.

Apparently Thibs said Rose isn't close to practicing, but then Thibs isn't gonna be forthcoming with info anyway.
