Oh, good, more ridiculous 'flagrant foul' calls. I thought we'd seen enough of that in the NCAA tournament.

When did Gerald Wallace remember how to shoot?

Was hoping the Bulls could get this one, but history shows the home team pretty much always win the game down 3-1.

"History" in this case means "I pulled it out of my ass but I feel like it's true". Let me actually look it up.

ETA: Hey, I was actually right for once. From a NY Post article on tonight's game:

when the lower-seeded team has taken a 3-1 lead in the series, the home team has gone 49-19 in Game 5. That gives them a win 72.1 percent of the time.

Steve Kerr has now come out and said that Rose "owes it to his teammates to play" if there's no risk of further injury.

He's right. Rose is plenty healthy to play. If he can physically do it, the mental side should not be holding him back. This is really getting ridiculous. Dan Bernstein pointed out that Kerr is very connected the Bulls brass. I wonder if this is a way for them to publicly say without saying that they want Rose to play.

Yeah. It's the inbetween stuff that's really annoying. They have yet to make a decision either way.

According to a press release from the Westboro Baptist Church, though, God does hate the NBA. And this edict is so significant that the church has announced plans to picket at both Wednesday’s Game 5 between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets, and Thursday’s Game 6 between the Chicago Bulls and Brooklyn Nets. Apparently the Big Man Upstairs, according to the Westboro Baptist Church, is really ticked off at Oklahoma City star Kevin Durant for wagging his fist at the sky before telling reporters that if a free agent veteran center was “happy, that’s cool with me.”

The free agent center in question is former Washington Wizards big man Jason Collins, who became the first active member of the four major pro sports leagues to announce that he was gay on Monday. So, by the Westboro Baptist Church’s unquestionable logic, this now means God hates the NBA.

I struggle to remember any team that's lost more starts from their projected starting five over two seasons than the 2011-13 Bulls.

The lesson here is God hates everything. Other than maybe Westboro Baptist Church, but really would anyone be that shocked if there weren't a few self-hating repressing gays among them?

I feel another Nate Robinson savior game coming

It's gonna have to be another MJ Flu game because Nate has caught the mysterious bug that Deng and Taj have and is now questionable.

The Bulls, Rose and his idiot PR team led by his jackass brother should have avoided the Kabuki theater and just said flat out he's shut down for the year. I cannot even fathom how someone that fashions themselves as a great player, leader and competitor wouldn't be on the court when 50% of the team is either playing hurt or playing with the flu.

What I'm saying is that SSR is right to mock Rose.
