Yeah, Bargnani really isn't good. I don't see the point of targeting him.

Neither is Boozer. At least Bargnani can open up the floor for Rose when he comes back. It's a big-time gamble though, given the chemistry of this team and the fact that Bargnani is viewed as not very motivated.

Boozer is easily a better player than Bargnani, and that's not meant as praise of Boozer by any means. Bargnani isn't even that good at the thing people say he is good at. He's shot 32% from behind the three-point line over the last three seasons. How much is that going to open the floor?

I can't believe they didn't foul them on either of those. You still have a foul to give, guys. Use it and waste some time

it was a 2 possession game both times. no need to risk a 4 point play

good win, Boozer saved our asses down the stretch

Yeah, he turned it on after the technical.

Yeah, not sure why those two were tripping over each other to make Boozer out to be some kind of basketball monster.

Yep, that's exactly what I was doing.

Eh, I actually really like what Boozer brings to the team and think the constant criticism of him is pretty off base. He's flawed defensively, but that's normally covered up pretty well by the rest of the team. My post was meant to be more of a comment on how terrible Bargnani is.

Not on the shot. Up the court.

I'd like Boozer 100x more if her just once go strong to the basket. Is there another power forward in the league who dunks less than Boozer? I'm tired of him going up soft and then whining about no calls

Well, saying he's "not good" isn't much different. Hell, I give it a nice whimsical spin.

Bargnani isn't very good either (certainly worse than Boozer right now). But I can at least see the reasoning behind the trade. And if the options are trading Boozer for a 27 year-old former #1 pick or amnestying him in a year so Jerry can avoid the luxury tax, I'll take Bargnani. Even if it does make us a little worse this year.

His vertical doesn't seem to be the greatest, and I've seen him go up strong and get firmly rejected on a few different occasions. He has a really nice touch around the basket which may just be a completely different skill set than what a guy like Taj has.

Parker, Duncan and Ginobili out for the Spurs tonight.

Stern's going to fine them 100 billionty dollars

I don't think they really give a [expletive] about the league

How nondescript are the Spurs that this wasn't some massive controversy? If Kobe or Lebron did that it'd be mass hysteria with every sportswriter in America doing long think pieces about what it all says about society.
