"Derrick, he's a freak of nature," Hamilton said. "I'm serious, man. I seen him dunk one ball the other day, and I said, 'Man, you've got to be kidding.' He just went up, went up off the vertical, threw it in. And he's all humble, like, 'Ah, ha, ha.' But he's getting better every day."

I understand the sentiment, but wtf do some of those things even mean? What does it mean to "go up off the vertical" and how is "ah, ha, ha" humble?

Really need to add a 4th big. There has to be someone in the D-League or street clothes that is better than Nazr Mohammed. Can't keep running Noah out there for 40+ minutes. He played 45 tonight against a bottom feeder.

I'm guessing "off the vertical" means he didn't get a running start.

I don't even think our entire bench gets us there and even if it did, the trade wouldn't work because of roster number requirements.

However, if the Celts do blow it up, and can't move Pierce this year, he'll be available again in the offseason and the Bulls should have more flexibility, including Taj making more. So I'd pursue it in the offseason if it was still there and there weren't better moves available.

Deng probably has to go to make it work, unless you are willing to send Noah, which I am not.

Carlos Boozer will not participate in shootaround because of a hamstring injury. He is a game time decision tonight.

Dennis Rodman is on that Lunch with a Legend thing on ESPN 1000 right now and it's insanely uncomfortably because he is insanely drunk/high out of his mind and just rambling about nothing and everything.

With Bulls forward Carlos Boozer saying his right hamstring remains “sore and stiff,” there’s a good chance Taj Gibson will start Friday night in Brooklyn.

Boozer said he might play Friday night but if not, “it shouldn’t be more than a couple more days.”

Well, they cut away from the whole thing and went to the national feed early because he couldn't stop swearing. They had a delay going, but it couldn't keep up with him...the rest was just insane near-gibberish. He sounded like he'd be in tears one second and then rambling about how asking what playing Jordan was like was like asking what sex with your wife was like...and somethingsomething blacks and Jews somethingsomething.

Bulls are basically 6-deep tonight. Mohammed and Teague have each played less than 7 minutes. Deng and Gibson have combined to play all but 4 seconds according to the gamecast.

When I was hearing radio ads that Rodman would be doing this show, I couldn't believe it. I knew something like this would happen.
