So, literally the only teams with a shot at a national championship at this point in the season are:

Alabama/LSU Winner, Notre Dame, Kansas St, Oregon and Georgia (because they will play Bama/LSU in SEC Championship).

Florida would have a shot if Georgia lost again, because they then would play in the SEC title game.

The DirecTV/Pac-12 Network thing is so incredibly frustrating. Fourth UCLA game on the Pac-12 Network this year.

Minor miracle if UGA loses to either Ole Miss or Auburn.

Good call. I hadn't looked at their remaining schedule.

I wonder how bad the beatdown will be against OSU. Man, I really hope Groce does a better job with the basketball team.

Florida State would have an outside shot if they win out as well, as that would greatly improve their awful SOS to this point, and they're Florida State, so they'll always get overrated in human polls.

KU's #119 ranked total offense vs. Baylor's #120 ranked total defense. That should be fun.

Unfortunately, Baylor can score very easily, so I think we lose big.

As long as Brian Kelly doesn't break out neon green jerseys like the last coach to have us at 8-0 entering a home game against a clearly inferior Big East team did, I think ND should be ok.

ha, it's more of a terrible QB and WR problem than terrible playcalling problem

Although them losing their perfect season to a guy named Chryst would be amazing.

Texas is not very good, which is astounding considering all the talent.

Which is why Brown shouldn't last beyond this season. Really sucks knowing that if Coly McCoy didn't get hurt in the MNC, Brown could be retired and Muschamp would be the HC.

At least Tennessee should win a game this week.

I'm sick of this Jon Gruden to Tennessee talk. It's almost certain not to happen and I'm not even in any way convinced Gruden would be a good college coach. He's way too impatient with QBs and who knows if he can recruit.

If Dooley's fired, my top 3 candidates:

1) Tommy Tuberville

2) Mike Leach

3) June Jones

Petrino and Butch Davis would be great options as short term guys, but either would leave us in a lurch if we kept them too long.
