I don't know anything about him, really, but as a Ball State alum I've been very impressed with his work. Purdue could certainly do worse.

That's funny. After the ND game he was saying they didn't lose to ND, they beat themselves by not playing Michigan State Football (one of several teams to use that post-game narrative).

As a MSU fan I would just like to say we have been in a lot of close games. I think players from just about any team who have had a season similar to MSU's would feel very similar to LeVeon Bell. I also do not think MSU has played a team that is significantly better than they are.

If that safety Redfield switches to ND as is rumored, hard to evaluate the class of '13 as anything but a home run. It's probably a home run already.

Yeah, but from what I've heard, ND made too big an impression.

 

The guy I heard this from has been pretty reliable about Orange County prep prospects, but take it FWIW.
